So the moment Eastern devs allow Western devs to work on a major SRPG franchise we turn around and make yet another shooter. *facepalm*
The space squirrel beat me to it. (I hope that's the only occasion I have to write that sentence)
And yes, still disappointing.
Adult games on consoles are suicide right now. Pick up a gaming PC. Few PC titles shy away from more adult themes. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if these screens were PC only and the nudity never made it to the console versions. Although there was that one guy in Lost & Damned... >.>
So you never know.
I find adult user mods a good solution. That way you take an already good game (like Oblivion or Fallout) and add just a bit or a lot of the sexy stuff wi...
Needlessly argue much?
Hulu is it's own company. Some popular services simply aren't available internationally and it has nothing to do with the console maker. MS can't force Hulu or Netflix to expand its operation so you can enjoy them.
Idiots. Don't go for high end visuals if you can't produce high end gameplay and reliability. These are games, not paintings.
"Kigmal, you don't know wtf you're talking about
It's a PS3 exclusive in Japan."
You can't say someone else doesn't know wtf they're talking about when you don't. It is not an exclusive game in Japan.
@Dir En Grey: That's the first explanation I've read that's made some sense.
Good looking game. More than that, the action looks very fluid and fun. I don't see the Hulk comparisons other than dealing out massive damage when you need to. Did Hulk have you stealing helicopters and absorbing your victim's experiences as well?
Honest question, I never played any of the games.
"I've yet to play a SH game, but I hear they're pretty fun. Is this game by chance another rail shooter?"
Nope. It's a third-person deal like all the other SHs. Also, there are no weapons. Avoidance and QTEs replace combat.
I know I'm not supposed to say this about Wii games, but I like the graphics.
On old Lionhead RPG in limbo. Kind of like Fable in with cavemen.
@krakdol: Yes, Sony will have a lot of great announcements, but we're talking about MS and the 360 right now.
Anyway, I hope "big" is used to measure quantity AND quality. What's better than a great new game? Five of them. /wreckless optimism
Hope for the former, expect the latter.
It is physically impossible for me to get hyped over a video game movie anymore. I don't care who's acting, I care if the writer has enough brains and daring to create or adapt a thoughtful script. You'd think no one could mess up Bioshock's story, but oh my the things I've seen.
That's great but why did it take so long? The game's been in need of some serious tweaking for the longest time especially at starter levels.
The changes sound cool, but I would rather wait and see what Rapture has to offer.
The ten new speculative theories everyday are too much. It's not news when you're just guessing. I can stomach a few, but most of this crap should be confined to a forum. I skip the articles, but I can't count on the main page for relevant news with all the fans blasting degrees into every new guess blog.
It's just the mohawk.
I rather think it's less a rip than a lack of originality. How many square-jawed, stubbly-chinned, heavy-browed, buzz-cut heroes can you point out this gen? Heroic proportions get reused. Tough break. Blame the art dept. But if he didn't have the mohawk, this article probably wouldn't be here.
"3 Good Reasons why Gay Tony will Flop" based upon knowing nothing at all about the content itself. Great.
Hope they like the game. Seems pretty rare that they enjoy one of our RPGs.
Pass.
If it's like Home, I'm not going in and I hope it's an optional download like Home so I can skip it. The idea of it sounds awesome on paper, but in practice I find it completely uninteresting like a full 3D chatroom.
Finally. I've been waiting a long time for this.
I'll definitely pick it up on PC since it's Bioware. With their experience, I trust them to make a decent PC version and hopefully there will be a wealth of mods later on.
